With its stout design, the Mercedes-Benz M133 2.0L AMG engine provides excellent entry level luxury class power. Mercedes-Benz rated the stock horsepower output of their 45 Series AMG at 375HP and 350ft/lbs, but these engines are very under rated from the factory. Our completely stock 2014 CLA45 AMG made 401HP and 363ft/lbs! But, AMS found a way to tap into the hidden power of your A-M133 2.0L AMG
What’s even more impressive when having an Alpha file installed on your AMG is the monstrous torque that you will now have on command. Through our update to the powertrain control module (PCM), our Alpha Performance Mercedes-Benz A Series Downpipe, and Alpha Filter your AMG will produce 491 ft-lbs of torque! To put this in perspective, that’s close to a 130ft-lb gain!More importantly, power is dramatically increased early in the powerband and is sustained throughout the engine’s entire rpm range. Our Alpha file will provide you with power that you can feel no matter what rpm you decide to mash the throttle.
