- Hull of the box is constructed of .080 diamond treadplate aluminum
- Bottom of the box is constructed of .125 smooth aluminum, and welded in with full arc welds, no spot welds
- Full size stainless steel paddle latches are recessed into the ends of the box and synchronized to allow opening or locking from either side of the vehicle
- Two keys are furnished per box
- Lid is equipped with 2 gas pressure shocks for one-hand opening of the box
- Lid is constructed of .080 diamond treadplate aluminum with an inner stiffener of .090 smooth aluminum
- Two spring type lid props assist in the opening and closing of the lid
- Lid is attached to the hull of the box with two 4″ stainless steel butt hinges
- Lid is attached to the hull of the box with four 4″ aluminum butt hinges with 1/4″ hinge pins
- Hinges are welded to the box and lid
- Sliding tray, 19-1/4″ x 14-3/4″ x 2-1/4”, with a white super durable polyester powder coat finish
- Tray comes with 4 adjustable dividers
- Box is equipped with tray stops to keep the tray centered while it is not being used
- Ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in the lid to seal against the flange around the box opening
- Black boxes go through a five-stage state-of-the art metal pretreatment anti-corrosion protection system and is finished with a super durable black polyester powder coat
- Mounting hardware is an extruded aluminum mounting clamp that eliminates drilling through the pickup bed rail. Plastic isolator keeps mounting clamp from scratching paint, preventing galvanic corrosion
