RKI Side Mount Truck Tool Box Aluminum Model 67SWA
- Hull of the box is constructed of .080 diamond treadplate aluminum
- Bottom of the box is constructed of .125 smooth aluminum and welded in with full arc welds
- Lid is constructed of .080 diamond treadplate aluminum with an inner stiffener of .090 smooth aluminum
- Welds are full arc welds, no spot welds
- Lid is attached to the hull of the box with three 4″ aluminum butt hinges with 1/4″ hinge pins
- Hinges are welded to the box and lid
- Full length small parts storage in the front of the box
- A full size stainless steel paddle latch is recessed into the hull of the box
- Two keys are furnished per box
- Lid is equipped with a gas pressure shock for one-hand opening of the box
- Ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in the lid to seal against the flange around the box opening
- Black boxes go through a five-stage state-of-the art metal pretreatment anti-corrosion protection system and is finished with a super durable black polyester powder coat
- Mounting hardware is an extruded aluminum mounting clamp that eliminates drilling through the pickup bed rail. Plastic isolator keeps mounting clamp from scratching paint, preventing galvanic corrosion
